| Talent Tree System This tier system is being designed and implemented to limit combat flow to smoothly even out the capabilities portrayed by ninja both in a fight and in a natural roleplay environment. This affects training in the same manner it affects the every day life of your shinobi. Based on what we, as the administrative powers have discussed, the system will be differentiating the basis of Chakra, Strength, Stamina, Intellect, Chakra, Speed and Willpower. Also being implemented are the factors of the 5 basic ninja arts - Ninjutsu, Taijutsu, Weaponry, Fuinjutsu and Puppetry. There are 3 basic tiers which are obtained through rank ups. Please note that it costs two points to level up a tier. The Breakdown When a character is created as a Trainee Ninja, they have 4 points available to purchase for each of the 2 different tiers. If the character created were a Tribe Head, they'd start out with 16. That being established - These tiers are based on Specializations, and Statistics of the ninja. Specializations refer to things like Ninjutsu and Taijutsu - while statistics refer to things like Strength, Speed and Stamina. Each rank up carries 2 points to the ninja to spend on each tier. IE: If a Trainee ranks up to Ninja, they receive 2 points for the Specialization Tree and the Statistic Tree. Tier 1 = Trainee Ninja (4 Points) Tier 2 = Ninja / Elite Ninja (6/10 Points) Tier 3 = Clan Head / Tribe Head (12/14 Points) Statistic GuideEvery statistic is listed as something that bolsters the overall defensive or offensive capability of the ninja. This miniature guide is to give a brief overview of what each statistic is primarily used for. Chakra OverviewChakra (チャクラ, chakura) is essential to even the most basic technique; it is the moulding of the physical energy (身体エネルギー, shintai enerugī) present in every cell of the body and the spiritual energy (精神エネルギー, seishin enerugī) gained from exercise and experience. Once moulded, it can be channelled through the chakra circulatory system, which is to chakra as the regular circulatory system is to blood, to any of the 361 chakra points (called tenketsu) in the body. Through various methods, the most common of which is hand seals, the chakra can then be manipulated to create an effect that would not be possible otherwise, such as walking on water, exhaling fire or creating illusions. Speed OverviewSpeed refers to the overall rate or measure of motion, which includes but is not limited to; Distance travel divided by time of travel, the limit of speed as a quotient as the time of travel becomes vanishingly small - the first derivative of distance with respect to time, the magnitude of a velocity and the swiftness of an action produced by someone with high speeds. Strength OverviewSpeed refers to the overall state, property or quality of being strong. This includes but is not limited to; The power to resist attack, or impregnability, the ability to maintain a moral or intellectual position firmly, or the capacity or potential for displaying effective action and a source of power or force. Stamina OverviewStamina refers to the physical or moral strength to resist or withstand illness, fatigue or hardship - roughly translating to the capability a person has with endurance and possesses a heightened sense of resilience when it comes to taking damage both physically and mentally or spiritually. Intellect OverviewIntellect refers to the overall ability to learn and reason, refering to the capacity of knowledge and understanding but is not limited to the ability to think abstractly or profoundly. The psychological reference is to the capacity for understanding, thinking and reasoning as a distinct practicality from feeling or wishing through a mind of heightened intelligence or brilliant mental power. This is used here as a way to understand or learn jutsu, techniques or fighting styles easier than those who do not possess heightened intellect. This is also used to effectively launch Genjutsu making it harder for someone with a lower willpower to defend against. Willpower OverviewWillpower can be classified, but is not limited to, the strength of will to carry out one's decisions, wishes or plans and control them to the point of fate-turning, controlling one's actions and their firmness over willpower. This is used here as a way to understand how to overcome an opponents fighting style and defend effectively against Genjutsu attacks that are based on the mind.
