Name:Matsumomo Asuka

Nickname: Guanyin - Goddess of Mercy/Observer of the Cries of the World


A name given to her by allies and enemies alike, for her kindness as well as freciousity on the battlefield. When battling her opponents, Asuka does not attack directly but instead works around her opponents strengths, showing them their weaknesses and exploiting them to their fullest. Combining her healing techniques with an onslaught of Hiton Techniques, Asuka makes a formidable opponent, despite her hate for violence.

Appearance/Clothing. Keeping herself well kept and dressed specifically to her taste, Asuka’s clothes have changed drastically over the years. From the usual tabi, shoes, tight pants and loose fitting top that she wore as a genin, to the regular standard chunnin vest. From a chunnin it gradually evolved into the jounin vest along with her promotion. Though as it got kinda stuffy while working, Asuka changed it to an above the knee frill skirt paired off with a low cut top. Her long sun blond hair cascades down her soft supple shoulders giving her a type of “ominous” look. Her boots are sturdy and tie high, stopping right below her knees, with a slight heel in the back.

On formal occasions such as parties, solstices and festivals, Asuka will change into things more comfortable such as a long one piece dress usually in bright colors such as white, yellow or gold. Never wearing nail polish, or other kinds of make-up other than lipstick, Asuka tends to keep it natural.

During her time at the temple, Asuka kept it plain and simple. A solid colored kimono with a high cut cleavage to avoid any suggestive suggestions that could be implemented into the young minds of the other male monks.

Personality:
Emotional
Pouring her heart into everything that she does, Asuka's emotions have caused her many ups and downs in her life. When she was young she tried to hide her emotions for Shuuichi only to have them back fire on her when he continued on with his life, oblivious to the feelings she held for him. Deciding that, taht would be the only time, Asuka shows every emotion(but anger) in interesting and constructive ways. In terms of anger and hate, well, Asuka has seen first hand what those emotions can do. She has taken steps to keep her own hate, anger, resentment and such in check via certain rituals.

Serene, Tranquil
Always giving off a calm demeanor, Asuka rarely ever gets mad. Living through the war, Asuka has seen many horrible and despicable scenes. She has not gone as far as to harden herself from hard-pressed situations, but takes a clam neutral face when dealing with such things. Her experience is what she has to thank for such an ability. Being born into the temple, Asuka spends quite an amount of time meditating to keep both her focus as well as mind clean and clear.

Caring
Working with people both old and young. Going above and beyond to keep them healthy as well as their families in their times of need. Only one who can help others without a sense of "payment" in return could do this. Her kindness does not stop at humans, but also animals of all shapes and sizes.

Curious
Always asking questions, Asuka enjoys learning. Whether it be about a story, or a place, or even a person, Asuka will ask questions until she has had her fill....while staying respectful to the person's personal space.

Realist
Seeing the world for the horror that it is, Asuka always not only says whats on her mind, and does not beat around the bush when it comes to the rules and states of the world. Her vision has since been stained with the horrors of the world, her clouded eyes while being in the temple since cleared.

Minor Superstition
Asuka has developed on her life distraction of superstition. But it is not completely gone. She still sleeps with her head facing the north, and does not handle sharp things such as nail clips and scissors after a certain time. Still avoiding breaking mirrors though she's working on it.

A body part being removed from you in battle can be ignored and not go into shock. Allowing you to go into the 6th gate and hardly take any damage at all. S ranked taijutsu moves can be added to your person along with the power to open all 8 gates.
