| The Eight Gates The Eight Gates are eight specific points on a person's Chakra Pathway System. They limit the overall flow of chakra within a person's body. The basis for the idea of the chakra gates comes from the body's limits on the functions within it. This makes the body much weaker, but it keeps the body from expiring too soon. By undergoing intense training, one can learn how to open these gates allowing the user to surpass their own physical limits at the cost of extreme damage to their own body. Now one should note these are not jutsus but modes, thus they do not have to be trained. Any special technique to be used in this mode however must be trained at double the word count. Keep in mind that the gates cannot be accessed if the character has a KKG or is imbedded with a bijuu later on.
First Gate
This gate drains 1 D rank worth of chakra every two turns it is open. It is a really easy gate and boosts speed by 1/8 only.
Second Gate
When the second gate is activated it drains a D ranks worth of chakra per turn, it keeps the speed boost from before and adds a strength boost of +1/8 as well.
Third Gate
This is when the gates really begin to show off their power, while it drains a C rank worth of chakra per turn it boost the speed to +1/2, the strength to +1/2 and endurance to +1/4. However after this gate is shut off all the boosts reverse for the next topic at a rate of 1/4 the number of posts it was open for in the current topic, rounded up. This is referred to as a hang over for the rest of the chart.
Fourth Gate
At this level of activation the gates will drain 1 B rank worth of chakra every post it is open for. However, the boosts are well deserved and the hang over does not grow. Speed, and strength are doubled while durability is so much so that your bones cannot be broken by physical attacks unless someone is above your strength. Jutsus can still hurt you and your muscle and skin is not safe, just your bones for the most part.
Fifth Gate
At the fifth gate the activation will drain 1 B rank worth of chakra, however the hangover doubles from the third and forth gate. At this level of mastery over the gates one can now move at +1 1/4 their speed, and has +1 3/4 their strength. Their endurance also raises to make muscles unharmed during the techniques activation under the same guideline as above.
Sixth Gate
At the sixth gate the activation will drain 1 A rank worth of chakra per turn, and the hangover stays the same. The user's speed is now +1 3/4, their strength is +2 1/2, however their endurance stays the same.
Seventh Gate
At the seventh gate the activation will drain 1 S rank worth of chakra, and the hangover will triple from the last level. Their strength is quadrupled, and their speed is tripled. Their endurance perk vanishes, but they also gain a tripled agility.
Eighth Gate
There is no chakra drain for the eighth gate, it lasts a maximum of ten posts. After being used the user will die, all bonuses from the last gate are +1/2, there is no hangover afterwards, the user's heart explodes.
