❥ "Dragons Blood" a hereditary condition passed down through the Night family that grants an individual increased tolerance to pain and - in some rare instances - causes the individual to enter a "Dragon State" which grants them a sort of blood-rage, causing them to be extremely resistant to attacks for a short period of time, though this is not desirable due to the loss of rational thought and such. Another side-effect of this bloodline is the enhanced sense of sight - though not to a superhuman degree, it allows an advantage over some - as well as a larger learning capacity. This is where the good ends, the drawback to Dragons Blood is that with these enhancements the individuals life expectancy is lowered significantly - Around thirty is the maximum expectancy, of course there are exceptions - Mood swings, as well as they are more prone to disease than most, this leaves most with this condition in a state where they must carry medicine with them as to avoid any unexpected events from occurring. A few rarer drawbacks include: Bleeding from the eyes spontaneously, Sudden heart failure, Brain rot, And a few other documented yet unexplained events.

❥ The Night clan originated in a land far away from the land of ninjas thousands of years ago, back when dragons were actually believed to have been encountered in the land, this led to a cult-like group of families combining together and worshiping the Dragons with sacrifice, women, and wars in their honor. The Dragons supposedly saw this and blessed the family by granting onto their children a special blood known as Dragons Blood -after the dragons that granted it-
After several generations the wars and sacrifices began to slow and stop - though some report that the sacrifices are still practiced - allowing the family to become a more peaceful and regal one rather than a cult. The family adopted the name Night due to the fact that the first children born with this special blood were born at night, when the moon was full. The Dragons are no longer the primary source of worship for the Night family, though, now they worship a collection of deities known as "The Spirits".
