-Bloodline-

❥ The Terumi bloodline allows members to mix basic element styles much more easily. This has led to the clan members being able to use both Boil (Fire + Water) and Lava (Fire + Earth) styles. The majority are skilled users of ninjutsu, both elemental and non-elemental, and are quite good with controlling their chakra. However, this clan is not all powerful, and the ability to use both Boil and Lava styles has their drawbacks:

1. While members of the Terumi bloodline are not effected by the heat or corrosive qualities of Boil and Lava style, allies who do not have the bloodline are. This can make it very difficult to use these styles around teammates.

2. Members of the Terumi clan are not skilled enough in Taijutsu or Weaponry to have jutsu using either style. They are limited to the basics of both styles, and may not do much more than fighting fist to fist or throwing kunai and shuriken.

3. While the Terumi clan has excellent chakra control, it is very hard to increase their chakra without an ample amount of training. Therefore, members may not increase their chakra through abilities. Also, members are restricted to using the following elements: Fire, Water, Earth, Lava, and Boil.

4. Terumi clan members will find it very hard to first awaken their advanced element releases, and unless trained for days and days, must train with someone who already knows the style (the first member of the KKG is excused). A list of members, which tribe they are appart of, and which of the styles they have awakened is listed below:

-History-

❥ The Terumi clan was once a quite skilled clan, and had many members in the time before now. However, plagued by many years of destruction, violence, wars, and murders, the Terumi clan is all but lost.

During the past century, the members began to figure out the inner-workings of both the Lava and Boil styles that form their bloodline. However, this led to jealousy, and treachery. Members of the clan began to battle to the death for control, devastating their homes and the landscape around them.

Many of the members died, either through battle or murder, but some of the Terumi escaped, realizing their need to keep their rich bloodline alive. They scattered across the land, and were often taken in by other clans in the various tribes. Fortunately for them, they lived to see another day.

While scattered, it became very hard to share the secrets of the clan, and both of their advanced elements, to members. Some Terumi members have no idea that they are Terumi, due to being members of other clans. The secrets of the clan were almost lost, until a revival of sorts began.

Once Terumi members realized their ancestry, they began to train, to acquire the advanced styles. It took years until the first member was able to gain Lava and Boil styles, and even more time before shinobi were able to effectively use these skills in battle.

Now, the Terumi, while still scattered among various clans, are able to awaken the advanced styles more quickly than before, an it becomes extremely easy when learning from someone who has already awakened the style and can use it in battle.

-Jutsu-

The Majority of the Clan's Jutsu are created by their members, but there are two that are standard among all Terumi members.

Boil Style: Skilled Mist Jutsu:

Element: Boil (Fire + Water)
Type: Ninjutsu
Description: The user creates a cloud of mist which is released from their mouth. This mist has extremely corrosive properties, capable of melting bones, skin, and other organic material. This technique has an inherent disadvantage in that its effects are indiscriminate, limiting its usage to areas that do not contain allies. In the event that the mist escapes the containment area, the user can adjust the pH level of the mist to safer levels, by simply releasing a small amount of mist. Though the mist is corrosive to all around it, the user seems to be immune to it. This mist is extremely corrosive, and will start by burning clothes, causing itching, and eventually it will feel like the target is burning on the inside, and have difficulty breathing.

Lava Style: Melting Apparition Jutsu:

Range: Mid to Long (5-40ft)
Element: Lava (Fire + Earth)
Type: Ninjutsu
Description: The user releases a large amount of lava from their mouth, which spreads into a broad, thin sheet as it travels through the air. Since it is shot upwards in an arc so as to descend onto the targets from above, it prevents the intended targets from jumping up to avoid the attack. A great deal of smoke is created afterwards by the effects of the lava, so should the targets still be alive, a follow-up attack can be conducted while their vision remains obscured.
